Have you got plans to go somewhere good this year?
After our big trip to the US last year, we've set our sights a little lower for 2016 and have some firm plans to visit Kefalonia in June and Berlin in November. We're also looking out for inspiration for a week away in September.
What about you folks?

Its a very different life Tim A very different life John for sure. It's fun at the moment, but I wouldn't want to live here for good, no gigs to go too

Off to Center Parcs Woburn in June which should be great - went there last year for the first time (not first time to Center Parcs) and was very impressed. Then off to the Lake District in October and have recently popped to the Isle of Wight to celebrate my birthday

We have a villa booked for late July in Les Eyzies De Tayac Sireuil in the Dordogne area of France. Shuttle booked, will drive down there. Small village, markets, scenery and country roads. Bliss!

Any gigs planned for your trip back to Blighty in June Tim? Lucinda Williams at Union Chapel Chris, Maverick Festival in Suffolk and my boss is throwing a big BBQ bash with two live acts after the festival. Robert Vincent and The Black Feathers are playing, so that should be superb. One of my jobs this week is to get two big banners screen printed with their album artwork on, for the stage area. Cheap as chips here, just got to lug them back to the UK!

Holidays are a way of changing workload, scenery, pace, wellbeing. Most of all, they are a way of really appreciating home when you return.
