Are there any discs that you have been after for ages but not managed to get? I'm getting very frustrated in my attempts to buy a vinyl copy of 'The Four Seasons' by the Drottningholm Baroque Ensemble - comes round pretty infrequently and when it does I get outbid or miss the end of the auction ...   |

I found the Albeniz/Fruhbeck de Burgos transcription for orchestra after several years' of looking, and you (Jules) found me a copy of the McCabe Symphony No. 1 that I had been looking for for over half my life. There is no burning not-have for me at the moment. Don't let the Vivaldi get the better of you. It's well worth finding  |

I have the JVC XRCD and reissued 180g vinyl of the Albeniz and both are excellent.

Thanks Pinch - I'm trying to hold out for a near mint copy Ah! Well, if you've not done so already, add it to your discogs wish list - you'll then get an email whenever any store that uses discogs marketplace lists a copy - I find this really useful. Also, if you spot it on ebay, use a sniper (or feel free to PM me and I can snipe it for you) - my success with ebay increased significantly after I started sniping. Sniper services can also run automated searches I believe, so you don't even need to make regular checks yourself. |

At last!
Finally scored a copy of the Four Seasons lp...
It normally sells for over £20 on ebay but I got one today, supposedly near mint, for £12 delivered from Canada!!
