In association with Tellurium Q.Odd wording on Hi-fi Pig have TQ taken over Hi-fi pig? hifipig.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Hifi_pig_magazine-_MARCHAPRIL2016-1.pdfWill this give us the unbiased view we come to expect from Mr Smith ? And I was told by the legal people of TQ Sales have dropped because of me but this seems not quite right, so I got offered a palfrey sum again for my shares and the work I did to give the other directors a life style that was elusive to them before they met me. So see pages 85 to 89 and I would love to read your views.

Excuse me for repeating exactly what I posted elsewhere...
The Bird's Eye View? Really? I'm afraid I find it very difficult in this day and age to take seriously a writer who lets herself be labelled with such a deliberately sexist sobriquet. One can only assume it was her sole route to being published, which should ring alarm bells as that would indicate to me that her judgement is flawed even before I've read anything she's written.

Just me being old-fashioned I suppose, but I thought that women being described as "birds" went out with last century's sitcoms. I find it rather discouraging therefore to find a writer (Linette Smith) in these modern times who is perhaps prepared to let herself be described in that manner to get her words "published" online. I'm not generally known for being "PC" but some things, inequality and/or sexism for instance, do get my goat.

Just make sure I have a very swift exit available Perhaps a younger generation is picking up on them I was surprised to hear a young 20 year old using 'cool' for good stuff back in the 90s Thought that had died and gone to heaven in the 60s Good to have the old words and phrases at hand maaaan

Thanks it was a crap deal and a bit nasty but they will suffer no real future for them but at least all there past debt will be paid by my designs so somebody will be OK. Well I am now doing some consultant work for a true old friend known for nearly 40yrs and always trustworthy and fun to work with no bulling about what I can say and do. And he relaunched a company he I started some 35yrs ago Elsdon Wonfor Audio Ltd even before Magnum days. I had a few offers from others but I do not trust now anybody new in my life that has no track record with me or anybody I have worked with, it a shame I have to be like that but that is life, and I suspect a few are pissed of by my reaction, but never again sorry.

You need to protect yourself after recent experiences, Colin. It's not surprising at all.

I don't see what the fuss is about - I thought it was simply a light hearted piece, and mildly amusing.
As for being worried about the "in association with...." thing, that presupposes that all the other mags are unbiased or have no 'associations' - do we really think that? - at least this one admits it.
Have I missed something ?
