I have had this sat round forever. It's a fine DVD player if dated in terms of features. As a CD player? I'll come right out and say it: I hate it. It's so bloody dull. I also detest it as a transport. I really don't know what anyone sees in it. Loads of people rave over them as transports and a few like them as players. Good luck to them. As long as I don't have to listen to it.
Mine's a gold one, in very nice condition with remote and manual. Pics to follow tonight, but price is............
Now FREE INC POST as long as the recipient donates £30 to RSPCA, PDSA, IFAW, BLUE CROSS or any animal charity.

Don't hold back. Tell us what you really think. I'm quite a salesman It apparently uses the same legato link processing as the well-regarded Pioneer CD players. Somehow I doubt they would be well regarded by me if this is anything to go by. Mind you, it even sucks as a transport IMO. Fab DVD player though.

I'm not really sure what it is I don't like. I honestly thought if was the DAC section. Trying it as a transport I expected a different sound, but the same sonic traits were still there. I really like a lively and dynamic sound. I get irritated by stuff that doesn't stimulate, some people seem to thrive on more laid back kit, but in really seems to wind me up I guess it just goes to show how much we differ in what we seek. If anyone wants to donate £30 to RSPCA, PDSA, IFAW, Blue Cross or any animal charity, they can have the player with my blessing and I will post for free.

Interesting choice of words in the description.

Yep, it's so hard to know what to say when you hate something, but at least others like it. I'm a big believer in beauty being in the ear of the beholder, but sometimes an item irritates me so much, it's hard to understand what others can be hearing. It's definitely the "Russell Brand" of hifi
