Blimey - these old bands have stamina. I went to see Fleetwood Mac at Wembley a couple of years ago with Sue. A superb performance - very much enjoyed in spite of the vast auditorium But Stevie Nicks was not twirling with chiffon wings - she was hobbling arthritcally in a chiffon marquee, and Mick Fleetwood was being hydrated by a stage hand mid-drum solo! Happy days

I first saw The Who in Oct 1975 with Moonie. They were the fecking business, loud but total bloody fantastic. Last time I saw them was July 2006, but I did see Roger Daltrey do his Tommy show a couple of years back - amazing as it was a warm up gig before his sell-out Albert Hall show and he did it at a small local venue, what a night that was.

I love the Daltrey quote on that advert - "....the beginning of the long goodbye". So what was their 'final' tour in 1982 then?! Despite all that, they're a great band to see.
