An audio cable can be made directional by the shielding arrangements. An AC fuse?
What makes me wonder is what manufacturing system SR have put in place to ensure all labels are applied in the correct orientation.

There's a viewpoint, I think espoused by Russ Andrews, that says a cable is made directional by the orientation it's used in. if you reverse it, it sounds worse for a while but will gradually regain its SQ by acclimatising to the new direction. I've never tested that out.

Re the directionality of the fuses, what made me smile was the not the fact that they're directional but that the manufacturer doesn't know which direction they're actually directional in, and suggests trying them both ways round and seeing which way sounds best to you. As I said before, at least with cables you usually get useful little arrows on them.

As they are American, won’t they sound better at 60Hz?

Girl at my pals work is finishing shift - Boss says could you post that mail please? She says Yes,of course.
Walks out her work and puts the mail back through the letterbox.
That’s a whole new level of stupid

I've never tested that out. Paul McGowan, PS Audio said something similar. Plug it in and use and it will become direcional.

I wonder if the bloke who came up with "One Hit Wonder" ever made up any other useful phrases. I woke up to two feet of snow this morning.

What's made me laugh about 'The Beast' snow threat, is that so far I could have sneezed more snow than we have got here!

The snow's quite heavy here in Kent, although I should probably qualify that statement with a "for the U.K." clause. It's stopped for the time being and it's quite odd looking out of the window and seeing bright sunshine, a blue sky full of fluffy white clouds, and thick snow on the ground. Tomorrow, so the BBC Weather people assure me, will be even colder than today down in my corner of the world.

I'm not worried about the snow at all. Siberian weather front etc.
Why ? They keep saying how awful it is. It is sooooo cold This is February on an island in the North Atlantic. 0'c in the day - aargh. Year or two ago it stayed around -4c or was it -6c in the day. *That* is cold.
I get worried when they say everything will be fine.
Weird here just down the road from Martin. Thick snow falling, dark. then Brilliant sunshine then Thick snow falling, dark. repeat

I've just had tomorrow's appointment for my B12 jab canceled. The nurse can't get to the surgery.

-4C this morning but no ice. -1C on my way home, some snow but not really settling on the road. Tomorrow morning could be slippery but the news doesn't half big it up.
It's winter and February, for goodness' sake. Get over it!!

We always used to have the coldest temperatures around.
I'm happy to say as high as -2c first thing and over freezing in daylight !
