We have had several generational names: People born before 1946 are called - The Greatest Generation. People born between 1946 and 1964 are called - The Baby Boomers. People born between 1965 and 1979 are called - Generation X. And people born between 1980 and 2010 are called - Generation Y. Why do we call the last group -Generation Y? Why should I get a job? Why should I leave home and find my own place? Why should I get a car when I can borrow yours? Why should I clean my room? Why should I wash and iron my own clothes? Why should I buy any food? But most of all........

The fire brigade are on strike for more pay and outside one station, they're all there picketing, standing around a brazier yelling slogans at passers by, when they noticed a little girl nearby sitting in a little red pedal car with little ladders hung off the sides and a garden hose tightly coiled in the middle.
The girl was wearing a firefighter's helmet. Tied to the front of the wagon were some reins and it was being pulled by her dog and her cat.
One firefighter walked over to take a closer look and she told him they could skive off work for as long as they liked because she was there toput all the fires out.
He smiled.
'That is a really nice fire truck,' the firefighter said.
'Thanks,' the girl replied.
The firefighter looked a little closer. The girl had tied the wagon to her dog's collar and to the cat's testicles.
He said 'I don't want to tell you how to drive your own fire engine, but if you were to tie that rope around the cat's collar, I think you could go faster. '
The little girl replied 'Yeah........you're probably right, but then I wouldn't have a siren.'

Absolutely Not any sort of bank is good and after the stupid letter from HSBC saying they will close out joint account as we haven't used it for 5 years then making it close to impossible to contact them we are well rid. Costa is good coffee. Another larf. Our next stop for a joint account has to be First Direct (part of HSBC !)

BP slashes pay for bossSome justice in the world then, but he will still be able to eat His pay package in 2016 was worth $11.6m (£9.3m), down from $19.4m in 2015. In February 2015, BP reported record losses and announced 3,000 job cuts. Despite that, Mr Dudley was offered a pay package worth 20% more than his 2014 award. That sparked dissent from shareholders and at last April's annual general meeting, almost 60% of them voted against the pay package. Well done shareholders

Getting a decent knot on a cat's testicles that will hold is not as easy as it looks....

I was getting my hair cut today - a woman brought her 4 yr old in and they offered the kid a drink. The mum said - don't worry - he'll share my coffee!! A 4 yr old! Madness.

A Burger King TV advert which was designed to activate Google Home smart speakers and some Android phones to describe its Whopper burgers has been hijacked by members of the public. The ad triggered the devices to read out information about the burgers from online encyclopaedia Wikipedia. However, somebody edited Wikipedia to describe the Whopper as the "worst hamburger product" and another added cyanide to the list of ingredients. The BBC understands the ad was blocked. BBC News

What made me laugh today?
Reading a report that widespread outrage has broken out on social media after a video has been posted of passengers having to be dragged onto United Airlines flights.
