We have lost some great musicians this year but the death of Keith Emerson has really shocked me.I have read (unconfirmed) that he had been diagnosed with a degenerative disease that would mean he would not be able to play keyboards any more.
I saw ELP at the Liverpool Empire in the eighties and Keith with the Nice at the Liverpool Philharmonic about 10 years ago,nights to be remembered.
Such a loss.
