Thought I'd see what's occurring around here, I've recently returned to having a decent setup after the "kiddie years" put a stop to serious music listening. Still looking for the right valve amp setup and then a new cartridge, but that's all in the future....

Thanks for the welcome. I'm currently trying a Forte 1A power amp, 50w class a SS amp, it's good but at the moment prefer the valve power amp, it may though be a mismatch with the pre amp which I'm going to swap out and see what happens.
I'm becoming a bit addicted to building my own stuff from kits and, hopefully soon, schematics.
The name is from a bike I own, a Cotic Soul mtb, and my love of soul music. The avatar, simply couldn't find a picture I wanted to use so went down the Prodigy route but got sidetracked by Yoda thoughts, hhmmmm, hifi listen we shall.....

Building your own has to be very satisfying when you hear it sing. I don't seem to have that talent. Good soul music is wonderful You've given me ideas on a nickname when I cannot have the usual Mikemusic GiantHoldsworthScottBromptonBickertonRaleigh  I'm quite into bikes too Yoda Prodigy I love too |
