Here is my excellent last generation (pre Blu-Ray) Denon DVD-2910 Universal player which plays DVD, DVD-Audio and SACD. This cost me £700 when bought new approx. 8-9 years ago and has been cherished ever since. Looking for £100 plus P&P or preferably collection from Berkshire (J13 M4). I have the original box, remote and power cable, but not the instructions.

Bump - any interest in this? it is an excellent Universal player and a superb DVD player - in fact the Blu-Ray player I have replaced it with doesn't play standard DVD's anywhere near to the same quality

These high quality DVD players often make a great CD transport into an external DAC.

Be worth trying through your Caiman - hang on it's not in your kit list.....
I run a Pioneer PD=S703 and Caiman in the office. I'm scared to compare that to the Rega Isis in case I get a shock

Nope the Caiman 2 is still there but in my Headphone system working alongside a Squeezebox Touch. The Naim NDX replaced and improved on that combo significantly in my main rig - but then I guess it should considering the difference in initial outlay

The NDX is a few bob's worth ! Yup - a good piece of kit though, I have (as you know from our discussions last year) always liked Naim source equipment and the NDX doesn't disappoint, in fact I'd say it is better overall than the CDX2 which is saying something and ironically more expensive to buy new. It's certainly my primary source now.
