I don't normally do these because I won't make a resolution unless I stand a good chance of sticking with it. I got a NutriBullet for Christmas. What makes this smoothie machine stand out is the ease of use and ease of cleaning. Just rinsing under the cold tap is usually enough. I've loved the idea for a while but all the other machines I've seen are more complicated or too big. This makes a glassful ready to drink from the very container you fill with the ingredients. I've been buying flax seeds and other 'boost' ingredients to go with the spinach, apples, carrots, bananas and frozen fruit. I fancy clearing out the entire contents of my fridge and freezer and stockpiling only smoothie ingredients. Being as I get a decent breakfast and light lunch at work, this'll be ideal for an evening regime. Why do I need it? I'm diabetic, a recovering cancer patient and I'm getting old. I'm in reasonable shape but If I'm going to extend my quality of life, I need to act right now. I'll give it a try and do my very best to stay with it. So, what have you others set as a New Year's Resolution?

Resolution is often measured in DPI (Dots Per Inch).

Well, I know that, but I was being a bit slow. Let's start with 300dpi, shall we?

Easy one for me. I resolve not to make any resolutions for the new year. I have had that resolution every year for the last 20 years, and I haven't broken it yet

I like to set goals The first one is debt free That should be around May Once debt is paid start to build home in Bohol (near Chocolate Hills) HIFI goals get the TT back up and running. This will mean a big system change and may have to wait till 2017 as will not be cheap to do Martin I would consider a better juicer it is worth going for a cold press juicer.

Juicing is great I need to get back into it. It really makes sense to get a cold press machine Martin They start from around £60 on amazon

Easy one first: buy new sofas. (This is a carry-forward from last year)
Less easy one: have a massive clear-out/de-clutter; allied to which:
Buy less 'stuff' (sofas excluded of course)
Perennial favourite: lose weight.

Perennial favourite: lose weight That's easy, just follow the Connolly diet (that's Billy Connolly. It comprises of just two things. Eat less, and move about a bit more

Yup, pretty easy (in theory) to lose weight, - Eat less
- Move More
- Keep Breathing
I was 117kg 2 years ago, now I'm 80kg and I have no been on a diet, but I have changed my diet. I went down the smoothie route more than juicing, but used to have a cold pressed juicer - sold it on eBay as it wasn't getting used. However, I bought one of these in June and I use it all the time, smoothies work better for me and I have a freezer full of spinach, kale, banana, strawberry, mango, blueberries and pineapple. Makes great soup too, 5 minutes and you get a piping hot nutritious veg soup from raw ingredients and no oil. No peeling, just wash and dump them in the jug.
Vitamix Pro 300 Blender - best kitchen gadget I have ever bought, so much more than a blender. Makes killer cocktails too as well as ice cream.
As to the OP, I had 3 resolutions last year and stuck to them all - spend less time on forums, buy less music and improve my health.
This year I have just one - keep up last years good habits and maintain a healthy lifestyle

Change of diet instead of dieting. Very much on the same page there.
Think Which just did a report on that kit. I recognise the picture. Will read that again
