Ok here's mine to kick off. Being lazy and hating extra boxes, I chos one that just folds flat with all baubles and tinsel still attached. Only the star at the top is separate Come on, let's see some stonking great trees with presents and perhaps even pets at the base!

Ours won't be going up until Christmas Eve! Actually, this year will be the first one for quite a few that we'll be having one. Running two large Christmas tree retail outlets for eleven years rather jaded me to the whole thing.

Great to see another "believer". Lovely tree too. I really like its shape. I went through a phase where Christmas didn't matter to me. I'm determined to celebrate and relish every one I have left.

Thanks Andrew. It was a bit last minute - we werent supposed to be here. And our house in France has a beautiful tree (about 12 feet tall) in the garden by the gate And a "Mistletoe tree" - as Sue thought. Not sure what the tree is but its a small tree festooned with mistletoe Er - apart from going out and buying it, I can't really take any credit for the effect. Very much "not all your own work" as the teacher would say Merry Christmas!

It's been a bit of a disjointed Christmas for us this year. I think Sue is a bit fazed. We were supposed to be on our own in France, unable to come back because as newly moved in we wouldnt have found anyone to look after the dogs. And then the move got delayed, and we have to make new plans. So the presents under the tree come and go a bit We had my parents, son and his girlfriend round with my stepson Harry (whose here all Christmas now) on Sunday My daughter came round last night The main family presents for the day can go round on Thursday - cos it gets a bit cluttered in a hallway otherwise. Sadly Santa declined the Anni I was bidding for on ebay - so I'm just going to have to build me one from bin end bits with Arthur, before I go out to see Wonky in France. The project is in hand...

Far more fun building your own. Plus you might end up with a better deck, mgiven Arthur's input.

Not quite sure how much of a "performance only" project it will be - but nigh on impossible to do something as pretty as an Anni. But if we end up with Vector and K-Drive, it might end up as good as a vectored Anni. And I am determined to try really hard not to be too scruffy
