Evening all,
Most if not all of you should know me from AOS, HFS, HDD, HUG and in the past, PFM.. I've been in and around the industry since the early 70's, firstly in specialist Hifi sales and now in manufacturing (for NVA). Music is my life and always has been from earliest memories. Hope I can be of use here and promise to try not to shill the products I make (too much )
Current systems are very old and in a state of flux at present. Currently having loads of fun from some very old and restored IMF Compacts (cone tweeters and all). After years with the 'BBC' way of speakers, it's looking as if the products of the late John Wright (IMF and TDL) are about to take over my life.
More to follow if anyone's interested.

Hi Dave and welcome to TAS!
A good friend of mine had a pair of IMF Professional monitors. He wanted to bi-amp them so I helped with modifying the crossovers for bi-wire/bi-amp use. My word they could move some air!

Thanks Martin. I recoiled a bit, but I suppose that if you'd like some reminiscences and vintage tales of vintage gear, as well as the occasional 'revelation' of current antics with wire cutters, soldering iron and glue (oh yes, the glue - cough - ), it might not be a bad idea.
I'm also hoping that my Hifi interests won't clash with anyone either, as I seem to be poles apart from where many of you are coming from. All in the same onwards and upwards direction, but different sides of the 'mountain.'

Planet Mondas Forum (lurking mainly) and HFS, with a smattering of AOS too. Offline, collecting solder burns - eek! and playing loads of music via my ancient stereo's (Hifi, what's that all about then?).
