’Songs in the Attic’ - Sunday November 29 Wine & Wallop, 97 Lapwing Lane, West Didsbury, Manchester, M20 6URwww.facebook.com/events/1643299822596550/Next Sunday me and my good friend ‘vinyl’ Pete are taking over the top floor of Wine & Wallop to host ’Songs in the Attic’. It’s a charity record sale featuring a very eclectic selection of over 1000 rock and pop records - we’ve got lp’s, 12” singles, 7” singles, picture discs, all dating from around the 70’s up to a few years ago. We’ve also got some of those silver disc cd thingys … Everything needs to go, so there won’t be any silly prices asked! The record collection comes from the estate of a local lady who passed away tragically young, and the proceeds from the sale will be going to her teenage son. We would love to see some forum members there, so if you can make it please say hello and let us know who you are! So come on over, have a look through the vinyl and enjoy a drink in the very comfortable bar - they’ve got a great selection of craft beers, fine wines and spirits. I should know, I’ve sampled enough of them … cheers!

This is great Jules - what a good idea to help her son out. If I possibly can, I will be there.

Just back from this - what a great and wide selection of records and all being sold for peanuts for a great cause. I hope the place stayed as busy as it was when we left Jules.

Great to see you and Mischa today Chris!
Thanks so much for making the journey down, much appreciated... I'm glad I left that awful weather behind me in Manchester...
