Welcome Andy. That era would include Quad esl 57's - so you will find at least a few here who can relate. Having been feeling old and grumpy recently, its nice to reflect that I was born in the early 60's, so most of your gear is older than me. I trust not as grumpy!

Lived in Sydenham as a kid but subsequently in Penge, Bromley and Anerley. I used to work for Abbey (National as it was then) and worked at Chislehurst branch for some time. Nice area, used to cycle there to play on the common when I was a kid. |

Never thought of Chislehurst as a village, bein' a country boy myself, but I guess you're right. My sister lived there a few years ago, and I went to at least a couple of parties in the caves. It's filling up nicely in here!  |
