Been on various hifi forums for plainly far too long, ahh the memories, old Hifi choice forum, uk.rec.audio back in the newsgroup days
Anyway...

Big Computer audio guy here, but made some significant changes in my system recently, feel I've got the digital side nailed so kinda going backwards to go forwards in a lot of ways!

- No more Solid State for me - Valves is where its at (Oh yes..)
and...

- Got back into vinyl.
Just set up my Michell "Gorbe" deck last night and I love it. Have a Yaquin phonostage on loan for now whilst my Firebottle is getting built, but even now sounds sublime. Different from digital, a different way to appreciate your music I'd say. Both are great.
Its good exercise too, cant just sit back and change tracks on my smartphone!

Also recent speaker upgrade, have a set of Colin Topps Edingdales...last speaker I'll buy short of a lottery win.
No upgrading needed or wanted, can just get on with enjoying the music!
