These are £7K new, heard one not so long ago in a very special analogue set up it does make a difference which was quite audible. For me it was sideways in that set up, for others it may have been different. All I can say was this record weight was the least costliest item in the analogue replay chain.
Is it worth the money?, only the person who is looking to purchase can decide this, some may question their sanity other may suggest it was a quintessential buy.
However the most important question here is does it work for you?
Yes then you will buy, no then the answer is simple buy some more music(though it would obtain you quite a selection of music which would keep you busy for many, many hours.
