This is rapidly becoming a favourite album. A happy discovery, I had not come across this NZ performer before. EDIT: interestingly, she has something in common, vocal-delivery wise, with Aldous Harding, another singer from NZ. |

I never thought that this particular record was very well recorded/engineered/re-issued, it always sounded a bit lack lustre. However I have been trying out a different record cleaning product and it seems to have made all the difference, much more clarity and detail, and better dynamics. Perhaps it's a case of not being properly cleaned when made, or maybe my ears are working fully today. Saw these chaps at Southampton Students Union on January 30, 1971 at a young age, as you did then, An interesting gig to say the least, they came on stage and asked the audience if we were ready to party, and then threw a load of stuff into the crowd.
