HELP.
My partners laptop has expired, and I have seen some very good deals on refurbished Lenovo laptops. One thing we must have is an HDMI output, but it seems Lenovo use something called Display port.
Is it simply a case of using an adaptor cable to connect computer Display port to HDMI on the TV ?

Yes, I have used mini DisplayPort to HDMI cables for some of the Microsoft Surface and Dell Venue 11 tablets we have. They work fine.

Yes, it does carry both video and audio - we use them from the tablet docks to 22" monitors.

You have to pay extra for that.
