Hello Guys
Just bought one of these on eBay for £20 but cant much on this little thing i suspect i payed over the odds too. I doubt that they are probably not HI-FI but for the price i payed i thought it was worth a shot does anyone know the year of this one. Some forums read that they turned into Dynaco?
Interesting to know what comes of this thread...
Thanks Dan

I was always bad at remembering model numbers. Is it one of the ones with a stepped chassis or the one with the tuning scale window that wraps over the top front edge? I think the former were fairly common units, not sure about the latter ones - can you not look it up in your avatar?!

I just reread the post and saw the part about the company and Dynaco. I think they were related closely but parallel in some way - certainly some of their speakers were almost identical. Scan Dyna in Europe and Dynaco in the USA?

It's the '2400' you want Dan. That was a good sounding jobbie

Hi Guys
I think its £20 worth of fun to be honest. If i like it then it will stay its in the 1973 Yearbook. Yes i see the 2400 is a gem from this make but these are just out of my price range. We shall see i'm hoping to use it with the min JPW speakers see how it sounds. They sound very good with the Nytech at present quite happy.

Nice condition! So it's the model with the wrap over tuning scale window. Have you got cables with the correct DIN plugs that you will need?

Hi Chris All Cables i have as i needed them for my Quads & Nytech so all sorted their. Yes The condition is nice and it has the dinky appeal which i quite like it has the same power output as the Nytech @ 25 WPC into 4 OHMS...

Dynaco, was own by GM they also own Hughes Microelectronic and designed the original Solar Panels for the space station. Dynaco also made some very nice transformers and large electric motors, and help to make an all electric GM car. They had the finger in many pie,s .
