Hopefully not my last shot as Snoopy isn't well and not likely to get better. So sorry to hear this - as you know I love the little character even though I haven't met him! Thanks Jules , just this minute had a call from the vet and Snoopy is going on course of steroids which may hopefully make his condition a bit better . |

The legend returns, yes Snoopy!! Had to say goodbye this morning , everything happened so quickly , full 40 min walk yesterday morning , started being ill teatime , I was up at 3am with him , at 6am he crawled into the conifer hedge to lie and wait . He staggered out at 8:30 not knowing where he was and I took him to the vet , a hour of tests and the diagnosis wasn't good , there was only one outcome , my son and I held him and said goodbye as the vet did what was best. Goodnight Snoopy , run free fella .  |

Really sorry to hear about Snoopy. 
Dogs that you spend a lot of time with are so special and they learn so much and know everything.
It's really good that you and your son where with him at the end rather than leaving him alone with the vet.

Well we've just been adopted by a rather nice cat. Turned up at the house matted and starving so the last couple of days we've fed her and brushed her. Took her in last night and she's slowly gaining confidence around the house. She's a lovely cat.
