I've just watched Brian Eno delivering this year's John Peel Lecture on BBC4 and am extremely glad I did. A very interesting man delivering some very interesting points of view on music, art, and beyond. I'm sure you can catch up with it on iPlayer if you've missed it and would heartily suggest you do.

Loved his defintion of art: "All those things you don't have to do." Talk about lateral thinking!

I think the Pete Townsend one a few years back was brilliant - I think it's still available as a Podcast download. I'll have a hunt around? EDIT:Worth a listen IMO, download the .mp3 podcast www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b016k4d0

A very interesting man delivering some very interesting points of view on music, art, and beyond. +1 Of all the Peel lectures, this one and Pete Townsend one are the pick of the bunch - I've listened to the PT one a few times over the years and I'll certainly be re-visiting this one. Thanks again for the heads up Slinger. For those that may be interested, it's also available as a downloadable .mp3 podcast, worth keeping hold of I reckon, as are the others. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0175jw5/episodes/downloads
