Some may have gathered im back into my old hobby i used to obsess over many years ago. Nowadays all ive learned may aswell be for nothing as it's changed so much in 30 years. However It did not take long to get back into the swing.
For the interested ill show off some Equipment have been buying in..
Just tonight i purchased a Arturia 'Beatstep' USB Pad controller. This was not purchased for the pad controller but solely for the 16 step sequencer it has onboard. great for those Tangerine Dream type sequences i like to do. I'll have a good old play with it before i buy a 2nd one..
This guy is using it with a Novation 'MiniNova' the same as what ill be doing

I don't really have anymore space but i had to order one of the Roland Boutique range, the 'JP-08' module. There's three in the range & yep im mega tempted to buy the other two, infact the more i look at them the more i need to ..All three are stand alone units which can be fitted into the optional extra 'K25m' Keyboard Dock. These are well sexy imho.. www.roland.co.uk/promos/roland_boutique

I reviewed a small Carvin pro amp some time ago and was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Certainly as good as a medium priced so-called hi-fi amp from many brands and a sight more potent.

I don't remember now. It was written for AoS and, since virtually everything I posted there has been deleted, it's long gone.

Ok just Acquired a Roland 'Super JV1080' Rack Mount Synth at a great price. my absolute fav Roland rack Synth, these are brilliant, i bought one when they very first appeared in the mid 90's, i remember it costing me a fortune, i much prefer it to it's bigger brother. The '1080' has a stonking 64 Note Polyphony, 16 part Multi timbral. tons of patches aswell as FX's.. You can also add upto four Expansion boards at a time. The 'Vintage Synth' Expansion board in paricular is the board im desperate for www.synthmania.com/sr-jv80-04.htmThe '1080' even got provisions for front loading PCM & RAM cards. I can even get Mellotron sounds thru it which is brilliant. An absolutely awesome synths with killar sound quality. Vangelis used one of deez.. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181900091973?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
