bit of a moan coming...
just been to collect the pizza for tonight's dinner...
On the wall of the pizza place there was a flyer from the local music venue, the Adelphi in Hull, which is 200 yards from home
just glanced at the flyer and on it was 'Sun 8th - Daevid Allen'..whoopeee thinks me it's Christmas in July.
got home and checked the calender .... it was Sun June 8th.....bah humbug!
The chap that does the flyer for the Adelphi never puts the month on the coming events, just the day and the date.
bah humbug!

An interesting chap our Daevid I can imagine any gig he does is at least 'interesting' which makes it very frustrating instead of just frustrating.

One of *the* albums of all time, ever. Still gives me shivers.
Love Bubbles, not quite so much
I also have later CDs on the same theme. He only achieved greatness once

The CD of the first album does not work because the LP has a continuous playout groove at the end of Side Two..

Yes, I miss that on the CD. They should have let it go on more, and more
