I thought it was high time to put a word in for these bargain headphones. Costing an economical £35 or so from eBay, the 668B are far better built and have much higher sound quality than they have any right to at that price level. Since I finished my Raspberry Pi second system for bedroom use, I have been making a lot more use of them and I remain impressed with their ability. They have no tonal slant as far as I can tell, are reasonably easy to drive (I get just enough volume from my Sansa Clip+ player, and more than enough volume from the IQaudIO Pi-DAC+ and Caiman-II), sound equally good throughout the spectrum and insulate you from your surroundings with reasonably efficient and comfortable circumaural pads.
The cable is removable and may therefore be easily upgraded, they remain comfortable for long periods of time and are a pleasure to use (and I don't often say that about headphones). If you remove the inner foam discs, which is a common mod, they sound even clearer with great punch and definition. Highly recommended for very little cost.

I knew they were cheap but I didn't realise quite how cheap. A bargain then!

velvet pads from thomman really improve the comfort factor. All the superlux cans are good 330/440/660....proper bang for buck.

Amazing! They sound better than a pair of Beats I was subjected to recently.

I tried them even with the velvet pads and removing the paper but I still could only wear them for 30mins by which time I felt listening fatigue I guess I am just not a headphone guy

Martin, thomman.....its a german site-If memory serves the pads are for AKG 240S (I think!!). Go on really easy with the handle end of a teaspoon. They also fit all the other superluxes I mentioned should you fancy experimenting.
