Yes, interesting - I'd imagine quite a few other Indies will be watching the success or otherwise of this.
You'd have to be a real vinyl die-hard to spill out the extra £moolah compared to the digital releases. As for me .... Schumann Yuk, Rattle Yuk. I'll be giving it a miss at any price!

I'm not much of a Schumann fan either, but it has to good news in the overall scheme of new classical vinyl ... I'm told they will be releasing Schubert Symphonies 1-8 in the autumn - again, not for me, but I will be looking out for future releases with interest. Schubert 1-8, missing out on the greatest masterpiece that is 9? - what's the point of that?
139 Euros for the Schumann set of 4 (?) LPs - say £100 - so that's £25 per LP? I suppose that's not much more than a full whack CD or SACD.
I can't say I'll be joining the queue for any of these, though, but certainly interesting in principle and for the afore-mentioned serious vinylists. Also be interesting to read what the LP pressing quality is like.
