I seem to have an addiction to building amps.
I have got a pair of SECA amps to build, and an upgrade of 833a to complete with bigger transformers and HT raised to about 1250v. So I'm not stuck for something to do.
Also, I've got into playing bowls, and I love it.
Otherwise it's Pre65 motocross (only occasionally now), photography, railways (steam for preference), walking and riding my two motorcycles. SECA amps, why? What amps did you have at owston a couple of years ago, they sounded superb? Surely not SECA were they?

They have been modified since as completely dual mono and with the addition of Andrew L's special filament supplies and a cascode CCS on the driver valve, so they should sound even better.
However, SECA might be even better, only one way to find out.
The modified GK-71 should be coming to Owston, whenever it is ?

OK cool.
BTW do you remember when I gave you that free linear power supply for your touch with one condition?
Eh? LOL

Books, film, photography. I collect certain authors, e.g. Leslie Charteris. Cars and modding. Space and astronomy. Oops, forgot boats, of course. I used to own a Crownline 250CR powerboat.

I like boats and that's a nice one. I had an Avon CRRC 520 for years and it was ACE!

Now, that IS "willy waving". Not really, if you know boats you'd understand that I ended up a whole lot poorer as a result!

I have a plastic duck in my bath sometimes ... ... does that count?
