I am Box, I have recently started taking an interest in audio equipment and you can expect many questions from me regarding high fidelity reproduction. Going for a look around now and see what the standard actually is.

By the way I love the colour scheme and can see everything really easily. I have an eye defect so white on blue is perfect for me.

Welcome to TAS Looking at your gear on AOS seems like you might have a lot of common ground with Xquki

I have a retinal condition that entails my wearing glasses that are yellow lensed and also have prisms. It can be annoying when trying to recognise colours and some type. I also have an astigmatism if the retinal condition was not enough. Certain magazines I would read are denied me especially when they have articles on certain coloured paper. If is easy for me to see these pages though.

Tiresome Box. Are there any prospects for treatment? Bionic eyes are still newsworthy but only for alleviating total blindness, but research continues to transform therapy options. Bionic eyeIn my case I have a 2nd corneal graft on my injured right eye which is decompensating, so I am very interested in the recent developments in synthetic corneas from collagen growth. I am a season ticket holder at the opthalmic hospital - but had hoped to keep away from surgery for at least a few more years. But whilst one eye is a pain in the a*** , fortunately the other one is in good nick.

The optician I saw gave me the glasses, which you will see when I post my turntable on here. It is the only available treatment at present.
