Has anybody taken up the three months free trial on the new streaming service from iTunes?
I'm more than happy with Spotify, but must admit I'm slightly interested in the Beats 1 radio service, which it seems you can just use without signing up to the streaming service.
Was just wondering if anybody was using the new service or the Beats 1 radio, and if so, any good? I'm told the sound quality is superior to Spotify, particularly on Apple products, but I'm sure that's just marketing talk...

I heard an article about it on the 'proper' radio the other day. The guy being interviewed about it caused me to coin a new name for Apple and how they promote their stuff. Now, whenever I see anyone using an ipad or white headphones, I think 'Pomme-Pus'

I should add that I don't normally knock Apple or anyone else as I couldn't actually care less what computer, mp3 player anyone might choose to use.
I might take a look and see what it's like.

Be careful with installing iTunes on a Windows machine. It has the ability to screw with it royally. I will not have that software on any of my machines.

I see Amazon have now launched a streaming service too - looks good value if you're an Amazon Prime customer.

Haven't tried it but I was tempted. I use Spotify and Deezer a lot but yeah,I will try the free trial and see how it goes.
