The first part of the film is actually a very good application, following a moving skier is a very useful training aid. My wife is a ski instructor and she certainly would find it useful to analyse ski runs with a much steadier video than produced by a follower with a goPro helmet mounted.

Great piece of kit doing a great job and many valid applications
However I think they will become an annoyance
"Want to see my (something boring) film ?"
We could use one to track our one runaway dog !

Ah another drone. They are going to become a major problem which will result in a licensing system. This one doesn't look as if it's meant to achieve great heights. For people who you use it to film themselves moving around I suggest a visit to the psychiatrist.

I can agree that anyone who straps planks to their feet and slides down mountains should visit a psychiatrist. My wife specialises in teaching blind and disabled pupils to ski: her training involves skiing blindfolded: totally insane.

It has very good uses and merit.
I see it being used by idiots and for a 'larf'
The first crash of 2 and injuries to humans, I hope not fatal, will be with us soon
Licensing next stop or preferable before all that

Wait for the first drone to be ingested into a jet engine. That'll bring in the required controls faster than you can blink. I hope nobody dies when it happens.
