I have been a hi-fi enthusiast for over 40 years and gone through a fair amount of kit in that time period. Listen to music on most formats except file based. My main format is vinyl LP which I regard as still unsurpassed for musical enjoyment.

Good morning Paul. Welcome to TAS, it's nice that you found us. Clever too, as we haven't launched yet, so please excuse the mess, we're still doing the decorating.

Thanks Chris. I found Martin's web page with a link to here. It's nice to see a new forum with no hidden agenda (I hope) and trust we will avoid the argy bargy that has become prevalent elsewhere.
Paul.

Hi Paul,
Good to see you here! Look forward to having some 'classic rock' and vinyl discussions ... I've been looking at some of the 180g options recently having religiously stuck to originals before, but am finding it a bit of a minefield ... Have you bought any of the newer stuff?

Quite a lot over the years but it varies from disappointing to better than the original. If you want to expand on this why not start a new thread ? Paul.

Hi Paul
Vinyl is top *listening* for me too, with most of my listening on CD for various reasons, mostly convenience so I want to get both as good as I can
