That would be good to attend. The last time I saw him was the Plant & Page No Quarter tour.

Yeah, I think this is a good band he has assembled, but I really enjoyed seeing him with Alison Krauss and his Band of Joy tour was fantastic, Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin, Darrell Scott and more - what a band that was and what a hoot the Cardiff show was. There were some very large Welsh ladies trying to pull him off the stage, all in a very light hearted fashion with laughs from all - you had to be there.

There was a nice HD broadcast on Sky Arts of one of his shows, which looked good. Or, rather, Patty Griffin did the looking good.

It was his Band of Joy tour which brought Patty Griffin to my attention Martin, didn't know her from Adam when she walked on stage with him, but I quickly recognised she could play a guitar and he gave her a slot when she took the lead centre stage and that made me sit upright in my chair and pay attention - been a big fan ever since

I'm rediscovering RP after watching the BBC4 prog on him. A really nice guy
Some excellent stuff, ranging down to a few so so I can also hear his influence in Zep now
