I sadly won't be there. In years gone by, I was in Munich every month and could easily have made it

A tone arm made to look like a German sausage ?
Reminds me of proper Black forest cake (not gateau) I had some years ago. In the Black Forest naturally.

Franco-Prussian war dear boy. Many years ago when the High End show was in Frankfurt, I was driving there with Terry O'Sullivan from Loricraft for the launch of the 501 in Europe. On the back of Terry's Landrover Disco, was a large wheel cover with the Garrard logo, and a Lancaster motors sticker (as that's where the car came from), of course during WW2 Garrard made the bomb sites and relase mechanisims for Lancaster bombers. We passed a sign for one of the top tourist destinations in the area, the Eder dam. At this point, we see spotlights pointing to the clouds, (they were disco lights in fact). I did the only possible thing, I started singing the Dambusters march at the top of my voice, and Tery and Nigel joined in. Shortly after, we pulled into a garage for diesel and the attendant looked at the car sticker and said "Ah Lancaster.....Yah, Lancaster) We paid and drove off to the place where we were staying. I was glad to do our bit for Anglo-German understanding

Every HiFi enthusiast should go, no question ! It's the biggest upgrade you will ever make !
I have been three times and will go next year, the hotels run a free shuttle bus.
Here are 1,600 photos soon to be 2,000+ ?
