Hi everyone. I'm here because I felt it was high time I wasn't associated to just one forum and spread my wings a bit like most others do. My hifi passion stems from a big love for music literally since I was born. I'm basically a vinyl nut and appreciate 'good' music. I go out of my way to source first press, original press, I'm a bit anal like that. I listen to mainly the best in reggae and soul ie: 1970's - early 80's, including Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Culture, Dennis Brown, Freddie McGregor, Gregory Isaacs etc etc. I also really enjoy Steely Dan, Bobby Caldwells self titled album (includes what you wont do for love) is a fave, you'll also find me playing Rupert Holmes (Partners in Crime lp), I love 'get outta yourself' from that one. On the soul side it's the classic stuf mostly ie: Curtis Mayfield, Donny Hathaway, Billy Paul, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Lou Rawls, Eddie Kendricks, Esther Phillips, Side Effect - the list is endless.
