I have read the instructions ! And I can't find an unlocked area where to talk about the board itself ?
However I have never used this make of board before.
What can I do to get a list of new/recent posts directly displayed. Not an invitation to go into folders and then find the last post.
Just a list of latest posts ? On some boards they list folders, but there is a little square with an arrow, and that opens the folder and takes you to the last, and hence latest post ?
Thanks guys
Dave

On the Home page there is a section at the bottom showing info and stats. In the 'Threads and Posts' section, there is a ' Recent Posts' link - does this give you what you want?

Having tried to break this forum many times and stumbled around I am very impressed with the software and the construction courtesy of our own Martin
Any other forum needs this software to be in the game
Make comments on any aspect and they will be listened to, especially as we are still in stealth mode and testing

It's a good suggestion, Dave, I will put a Forum Suggestions board in place for feedback.

Also, there is a Recent menu option for recent threads, and folders containing unread posts are shown as

Hi folks. Can you point me towards a setting to put the last post at the top?? Its a drag having to go to the end every time. I've looked in settings but can't find anything.

If we're looking at a suggestion box, it would be nice to have page navigation at the bottom of a page as well as the top. I tend to work down, and then want to move to the next page, which on this forum means going back up to the top. Ta 2

If you click on NEW buttons, you will be taken to the last read message. If you hit End on the keyboard, you will be taken to the last post.

Don't forget the sexy floating up/down arrow on the right of the screen! This one......

Rightho, however I have a Mac and in spite of using a PC keyboard at the mo, pressing 'end' doesn't do anything. I'll use the floating arrow whilst you search for a way of doing it .

Martin
I'm still getting intermittent problems with navigating to the last post on a thread from the recent threads list. The icon changes to a hand over the appropriate box on the right hand column but clicking has no effect. The problem was with Firefox, so I am now on IE11 which had the same problem.
Until I came to click on this thread
Hence intermittent! And apparently not browser specific.
Edit: I still have the problem on the "recent posts" page but not when clicking the same link in the relevant forum

It's very difficult to diagnose things when they just work for me. I've just looked at the thread list and clicked on the blue space in the right-most column and it took me here, at the bottom of the thread, where I expected to be. It works on both my desktop and tablet.
I've also noticed that the smart menus (starting the breadcrumb trail, headed The Audio Standard) always displays NEW in any section that has new posts. You can hover your mouse over all the menus and submenus and get a quick idea of where there are new posts to be read.
In fact, the menu NEWs plus the Participated NEWs do it for me and I haven't used Recent in a while. Funny how we all find different ways to navigate.

Yeah - they're working for me now too Nothing worse than an intermittent fault . I'll monitor and PM you if it reoccurs rather than clutter up the forum. If others are experiencing it they can post to help show its not just me
