I've had a Koetsu Black done by van den Hul but I can't for the life of me remember what it cost and it was a long time ago, so it would probably be worthless info even if I could remember! I used it for a few months and then put it back in its box. It's found its way back onto an arm again now though.

I intend using them for my Shelter when it needs re-tipping, will ask for the best fine-line they can fit. I expect it should raise the performance to at least the next model in line (the 7000).

what make ! Some manufacturers offer a trade in value I thought about buying a shagged Dynavector Karate D2 and having it repaired. Tried Northwest Analogue but they say they don't service them because of their construction.

Don't Dynavector do a good trade in deal? They always used to.

Being something of a "tight a*se" (which I am. I'll admit it), it won't be the sort of bargain that I'm looking for. Might just get an ADC XLM. Anyone had a 220?
