Recently installed my TC-7240 source selector and 6 months down the line, one channel has dropped in the switch, i need a recommendation for a reliable replacement 4 input switch with better quality contacts.
Thanks.

How about a quick PM to Stan? His customer service is always good.

This is the first time that I have heard of a TC-7240 not working on one output after a period of use. I have sold quite a few over a period of several years. So if it was a problem with the quality of the switch I would have heard about it from several sources by now, and updated it to a MKII version.
If you haven't found anything that can do a better job than the TC-7240 and has even better switches though after a reasonable amount of effort on your part to find one, just EMAIL me and I swap it over with a new one. I can then take the unit apart and see if my diagnosis matches yours as far as the reason for the problem is concerned.

Hi Stan,
Thanks for your reply, yeah it's on input 4, i'll pack it up and wing it down to you and let you test it, the seal is still intact so never opened.

Hi Folks,
I'd like to post on thread to show my gratitude for Stan's prompt action and generosity in sending a new unit to me, hadn't realised i have had the TC-7240 for nearly 3 years though only used it for the last 6 months, therefore i posted on here hoping to get a recco on a suitable part and repaired locally, but Stan made an exception on this occasion and i am really grateful for his exceptional customer, once again big thanks Stan.
