First real Sunday morning listening session. Ewan McColl, Miles Davies, Coltrane, Sleepy John Estes and now into the 3rd Brandenberg (the Karl Richter version, which I got at a charity shop last week, still sealed box set £2 ). Both analogue (LP and cassette) and digital sources sound amazing. Got to work tonight, but in the meantime more Miles

Hi Paul, Good choice on the Sleepy John, I may just have to follow suit shortly. Is there any news on when the show will be back up?

Hi Paul, Good choice on the Sleepy John, I may just have to follow suit shortly. Is there any news on when the show will be back up? Hi Chris, i now have finished the living room system and all the boxes are out of there, trouble is yhey are in the bedroom that is going to be my radio studio. Sadly I think it's a few weeks away at the moment. Likewise I've had to close the eBay shop as all the materials for the record cleaning fluid are in store till I find a new workshop. BTW the final part of the jigsaw in th main system was the mains supply. One of my Monster power conditioners blew so as I have a balanced, clean radial going to the sockets behind the racks, I have put in a couple of the TCS Boa Constrictor range of mains blocks and the one thing the aren't is constricted Great improvement in dynamics and overall clarity. The soundstage is now vast, imaging is razor sharp, not just centre and extremes, but great intermediate positions too, loads of height and back to front depth too. I just got the Jah Wobble - Redux 6 CD set to review for the Express and the textures are stunning. Onward and upward, main bedroom system next, trying to work out what to use. I was thinking of the Rogers Cadet flat panel horns but not sure about the space, even though they are pretty flat. I'm going along the lines of GL 75 or Techy 120, with an OL Silver, a Technics New Class A integrated (I've got a few) or a JVC AX9. I think I'll use a either some Rogers LS4as, a pair of KEF Cadenzas or the Ditton 15s. Decisions Decisions

Nice looking system, Doc. You should be able to paste exactly the same hosted images here in TAS.

Thanks Chris, I coud not get the IMG code for some reason. Just sitting back this morning with some Record Store Day goodies that I'm reviewing for the Express. I went to Soul Man Records in Putney, which is probaly the best Soul / Jazz store on the planet, with a great slice of Blues slung in there too. They have re released Sandra Wright's vWounded Woman, Carlos Garnett's Anthology and Linda Jones' Hypnotised albums on 180gm plus a limited edition Betty Wright 7" and they are all superb. I want to write the review now, but the Mrs. wants to got to the plant market as yhe new garden needs planting.......... At least I get a bit of peace to listen while shes planting later
