These were a great little low price Deck at the time. I preferred the Version with the Smoked Glass platter instead of this Logic 'Gemini' style platter. Tempo

I've just made my cheapest ever ebay purchase - needed some replacement Sennheiser ear pads and managed to win an auction for the princely sum of 1 pence. They're coming from China would you believe - postage was 51p!!

I’m restoring a couple of speakers that need crossovers, just wanted some cheapies so went to eBay for some components and a bit of vero board. I found ready made 2way crossovers with the right frequency for £1.89 each. FFS how can anyone compete with that. They arrived yesterday and seem to be good quality parts and PCB. I’ll put them in at the weekend and find out.

It's a bit like the rather excellent DC-DC converter I bought from a Chinese eBay vendor (to power the raspberry Pi from a 12V battery), superbly made at the ridiculous price of £4.58 including shipping!

I suppose when there put together by the bleeding fingers of unpaid child slave labourers, you can make them cheap. I wish I was joking about that too.

If you don't have it, Mike, I strongly recommend James Taylor's Hourglass. I've just downloaded it via google play, sounds very nice, will need to listen to it 5-6 times times i reckon to start hearing all the music in it
