I guess that they are not even the more sought after 15 Ohm, but 11 Ohm ones.
I paid £90 about 1987 for a second hand pair of 15 Ohm Chartwell LS3/5a's from a friend. That was about the going rate then. I still have them.

Someone will pay £3.5k for them, but they had better be a collector. For sound quality, there is plenty at that price point that will give better performance.
