Hello everybody,
I just registered in your forum following the advice from Stanley Beresford, that I can get here more informations from owners of his new Beresford Capella TC-7110 Headphone Amp.
I would be very glad, if this message will be noticed, as I am very strongly interested for Beresford Capella TC-7110 Headphone Amp.
As I think (and feel), if this is true, what Stanley Beresford is saying and if those controls (damping, HF, depth...) are working as they should, then Stanley manage to make something: - very genial for asked price - and discover marvellous niche in headphone amp category with his understanding of different demands of headphones. Mostly I'm curios about relation between intensity (because his headphone amp has really a lot of power) and quality (dynamic and subtleness, when demanded).
Thanks in advance for any kind of respond.
Regards, Alex.

Hi Alex and here's a warm welcome to TAS from me too. I don't use headphones myself, but I think you're correct and that Stan has taken a very refreshing approach to the design of this little amp.

Compliments to all administrators of forum to respond so fast.
Yes, I hope that Tony (this Tony with Beresford Capella) will soon or later notice this message, because I couldn't send him direct personal message.
Anyway, I am living in Scotland, so I am used to beign everything slow... ...beside the weather which is changing all the time.
So I must admit, that Stanley Beresford was 'thunderbolt fast' in respond and advice.
Will wait. Null problemo.
Cheers, Alex.

Stan does seem to have astonishing reflexes, there are one or two people who have bought DACs from him who have had same day delivery with the use of the UK postal service. God only knows how he ever managed that!

Welcome Alex. The last headphones I used was on an Air France plane, other than that I'm an open baffle man. Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Hello sovereign,
thanks for welcoming.
Yes, mostly we use headphones either we need to (in studio or any kind of working space or simply just not to disturb others) or if we wants to be "trendy".
But now I prefer "third" category and that's when you just wants to have your "intimate private time with music", as it's simply astonishing what "good gear" can produce.
I wouldn't otherwise spend money on anything related with headphones, if I already haven't very pleasant experiences.
Only... Good gear is usually costing "a little bit more", so I am looking for local producers (not from china), because if I am willing to spend "a bit more" money, I would like it to local small companies. But you must to dig for them, as a lot of them are not so well known "as Sennheiser" in area of headphones.
And that's why I'm on this forum.
I presume, that here is a lot of members who have experiences with "gear" for which I never heard before...
Regards, Alex.
