To only slightly swerve the thread momentarily to cool posters but without the space theme, our daughter was once watching some family sit-com or other and there was a scene in a house where there was a Cuban film poster hanging on the wall. I thought it was fantastic and said "I want that poster" and thought no more about it. Mischa then quietly spent months trying to track down a copy of it for a present for me. She finally snaffled a repro of one that had been reprinted for an exhibition in New York. The image appears to be very much more easily available now - including on Amazon and Ebay. I love it!

The sad thing is that there are people who seem to almost believe that Star Wars/Trek are documentaries!

The Trek future looks relatively benign (if a little anodyne), but the Wars Empire would not be a future to look forward to!
Could the Holodeck be our future hi-fi system, with the performer/band/orchestra playing in live 3D in front of us?
