That particular job is "over the side" work and SHOULD require close in standby cover. But the bosses just tell you to shut up and get on with it if conditions don't allow that. Couple of the lads have had close ones doing this - the stack swung one time and clobbered that work basket you see and just about tipped the lads. Very close one. Another bloke didn't get his hand out the way sharpish enough and ended up with a sore thumb after it got a wee bit squashed. Shit happens.
