I did my 1st Wordle yesterday. Failed. Close but no cigar. But got the hang of what it's about.
3/6 today. Impressive, it said.

Ah, so there's no point in getting my binoculars out on the next clear night?
Mind you, I'd need to be in the southern hemisphere as well.

It is quite tiny. A mere 4 million times more massive than our sun.
It must have been a seriously difficult job, they've been on this for 3 years or more.

Some minimalist-ish chill out music from Roger and Brian Eno. Mixing Colours. I like this - John might, too.

Hey, you're not wrong, Jules. That's rather good, isn't it. In fact, I enjoyed the whole album.

Yes, that sounds pretty decent on my system, deep and taut and thrummy. And the foot taps are sharp and slappy.
Mind you, I've no idea what it should sound like!

Pre pandemic I had a regular 40 minute Saturday evening drive home that coincided with Classic FM's gaming music programme. There was some superb "classical music" played!

Congratulations on your new speakers, John.
I suspect you were always heading for this result from the first time you heard them!

Has anyone transcribed The Four Seasons for viola soloist? It seems an obvious thing for someone to have a go at, but nothing pops up from a fairly simplistic Spotify search.

Another fine young string soloist I'd not heard of before. Violin this time. Janet Sung. Quite an adventurous programme.

No, I don't get the anti viola thing either. "Viola jokes" have been standard fare for decades, though.
Vaughan Williams wrote exquisitely for viola. If it's good enough for Ralph it's good enough for anyone.
I'm glad you enjoyed the album, Jules.

Hmm, yes. Still trying to detect and identify dark matter. Best of luck with that. Random intuition tells me that a particle collider is looking at the wrong things.
Yet another "first crack in the standard model". We've been there, done that. And they've always faded away as experimental accuracy increased.

Maybe try it with and then without Shungite?
