Good man...I especially like the backing from The Hi Rhythm Section – Charles Hodges (organ), Leroy Hodges (bass) and the late Teenie Hodges (guitar) - the band on all of Al Green's best stuff.

I'd like to add, if it's not at all obvious, that we are disappointed that we had to take this action. A forum isn't any good without its members, and we found ourselves in a position where we either listened to the complaints or held fast and lost a lot of members and involvement. I get this, but would have like the complainers to have had the guts to complain openly on the forum, and explain their arguments. Otherwise it looks like cowardly sour-grapes to me.

I would like to reinforce Pinch's spot-on post. TAS's willingness to facilitate the loan scheme was admirable and was one of the many things that makes this place so refreshing compared with the other hi-fi forums. Such a shame that other vendors chose not to participate for whatever reasons. The success of the scheme and amount of comment it produced surely shows how useful such a loan scheme can be ?
I urge you to re-consider. Thanks

What would you like to know? For £65, Innuos will collect yours, update the software to the completely new one the same as the new models, and return it to you. Edit info while its ripping, after its ripped, and all from a tablet - no more PC needed! Sounds good - I will have to get on to my dealer !

Looks like I may be swapping my Innuos Zen for the upcoming, full width Zen with linear PSU - looking forward to the new interface, and whether it'll bring any immediately noticeable sound improvements to the streaming side of my system... Do you have any more details on this ? Thanks.

I spend a lot of time on forums because I enjoy having my self-esteem, musical taste and hi-fi choices torn to shreds by narrow-minded bullies on a regular basis !

I have albums that I know I will likely never listen to again, including a few which I cannot name on here or you will all likely chastise me somewhat …. however, I cannot bring myself to sell or bin them… probably should as my downstairs cupboard where all of the CDs are kept is getting close to maximum. I think you should list the dodgy ones - we are all friends here!

It has been very frustrating being away for much of the past 10 days when I have had the NVA TIS to evaluate. I have been able to put in some good listening hours lately and have concluded that the TIS is indeed a significant step up for me and my system. I tried it in place of my existing Chord Cadenza I/Cs, in three different set-ups : between my Bryston pre/power amps, between my Chord Hugo DAC and the Bryston Pre, and between the DAC and the Power amp (using the DAC as a pre-amp.)
In all three situations, the music sounded slightly louder than before, and was more open, albeit subtly. The soundstage definitely broadened, and dynamics improved. On a track like Nick Cave's "Far From Me" I felt that there was more space between the instruments yet the whole thing hung together so well.
So, I think I need to buy at least one asap. Maybe I need two ? Thanks again to NVA for the loan.
