Stepson when at Durham uni described the winters as bitter Assume the Scots would be in T shirt, shorts and flip flops Lol...Dunno about that Mike, it's bitter here too. We're looking after a friend's black Lab for a week and it's a thought to take her out for a walk

Yup, very cold up here too in Central Scotland, but no snow. Long may it last You soft Southerners must really be suffering A mate sent me a picture of heavy snow where he lives in Birmingham. I said mate, that's what we call a 'dusting' of snow where we live

I received my second Aucharm grounding box today. That's gone in place of the Black Ravioli connected to the EtherREGEN. I'm quite taken aback as I can immediately hear the improvement in note decay and, more interestingly, dynamics and clout. So that pretty much completes my journey into grounding boxes. Transformative as a whole? Yes, I can honestly say that they lift sound quality considerably, fully enabling the latent SQ of my individual components. My digital streaming system is performing at a high level with music simply bursting from the speakers. Throughout all of my musical journey from LP/CD/SACD to streaming, the Ushers have remained a constant and are the sole survivors of all the upgrades. They just got better the more my system has evolved. I have huge respect for their abilities. How much is the Aucharm grounding box in GBP please Martin. I'm not sure if it's priced in US dollars or Singapore dollars.

Hope you're feeling better soon Paul. Look after yourself, try to stay well hydrated, and have a kip if and when you feel you need one.

Lol there's a few there I haven't heard for a while Paul. Regularly got a piece on 'jeelie jam' when I was a wean, and yes I climbed over a few pailings in ma time. I do know an 'auld sweetie wife' or two. TBH I think I'm turning into one Never called a female pet, always hen, until I met the wife. She's a 'duchess' One quick story. Jeanette was out with her dad (Welsh, don't ask) and they were passing the Bar-L so she asked " Could you dreep that wall Daddy?" Duncan, not having a clue drew himself up to his full 5' 6" it seems, and assured her " of course" he could. Nancy, her mum, explained when they got home. Lol have you seen the wall surrounding the Bar-L BTW dreep being the Scottish word for drip. I this context it meant holding on to a wall, tree etc by your fingertips and letting go from a great height. Never liked doing that because injury usually followed
