Tried Whippy's recco from further up the thread, they are the nutz !!! very good indeed, well worth tracking down Dave. Just to say the first time i tried Wasabi one's,boy do they give you a kick, make the mistake of a small handful...BOOM!!!, ferk me found my limit straight off so a couple is all i can throw in my gob. Can't be doing with wasabi - tried some wasabi Pringles once - the flavour tasted like heavy duty cleaning fluid. Suffice to say, that was the only tube of Pringles I've ever thrown in the bin. The missus didn't like them either.

subjective opinions are fine, gives us a flavour of the product. Ultimately, we all have to hear it for ourselves. Might take a little time to put together, but I'll sort something out. I'll happily take any music recommendations to try with them to report on - maybe another thread would be better to discuss this?

It would be fab if you would review these for us in the Speakers board, David. I've heard much about them, but not yet caught them at a show. With pleasure Martin. It'll be a subjective opinion though, as I have nothing at the moment to measure them with (working on that though). I don't think shows really show what they can do, as you need to hear familiar material on them. I can sum them up in one line though - once you get used to them, everything else sounds rubbish!

Not as nice as Branston's Cheese And Pickle Peanuts, though. I knew I shouldn't have gotten involved with this thread! Luckily, Coventry is crap for shopping, so chances are I won't be able to find them

Mostly bad stuff Wine, cheese, port, crisps... In particular, Walkers Sweet Thai Chilli crisps, Walkers Market Deli crisps, Wheat Crunchies (being available for £2 for 16 packs doesn't help! Got through 14 packs during one film...) Sunbites Chilli Crackers are rather nice too...as are their crisps. Mozzarella & Pesto Kettle Chips - my current favourite I'm trying to give up as Kettle Chips just seem to leave a bit of an aftertaste with me... ANY strong cheese with decent flavour (nothing blue though). And recently, Tabasco cheese... Dow's port - I forget which one, but it is usually almost 30 per bottle. Gorgeous.

Untrue - Burial

Within the last week or so, I've had two people recommend me Burial based on the fact that I (and they) like Boards Of Canada. I remember trying their self titled album early last year, and not being taken with it. So after recent recommendations, I thought I'd try again. Again, really not doing it for me. I thought maybe it was just the one album I tried that might be their bad album, but I'm listening to Untrue, and again, just not doing it for me, and I certainly don't find it in any way similar to Boards Of Canada.
Any thoughts?

Have the first one in the series by Carpenter David, good stuff. Like JC's 80's film music. Nice table...have something similar (though not the SME arm!) I do have the first one as well. This one apparently has a few cues not used in the film. I do love Carpenter's/Howarth's scores. I also played a bit of Aphex Twin's Syro after this, and I have to say iHalloween III sounded every bit as good, apart from the bass not being quite as distinct and controlled, and with a bit of background noise because it is coloured vinyl. I hope Death Waltz do The Thing sometime in the near future. But as Mondo have now bought them, I'd prefer it to have a cool Mondo cover... The turntable sounds awesome, although I have to say it must be being helped by the Chord phono stage, which in this system (Orbe SE/SME V/Ortofon Quintet Black/Classe Sigma SSP/Classe Sigma Amp2/KEF Blade 2) is doing rather an amazing job. Very transparent.

So I can use library photos from my iPad/iPhone as long as I'm using the Tapatalk app. I'm usually using Safari on my iPad, which doesn't work that way.

Hot-linking is pretty simple though.... I don't normally like promoting "that" retailer, or any other large retailer! I saved the image to Flickr, then chose the image size I wanted, and hot linked that way - shouldn't be any different to hot linking to any normal site as it is just using the URL. It wouldn't have it on another forum either. Shame you can't add a photo from the library on an ipad or iPhone.

Fair enough. I'm even more curious as to what the link was that I clicked on then. As I say though, I abide by all road rules, bar riding on pavements during (what I consider to be) dangerous sections of roads, nowhere I'd rather get a few funny looks than endanger my life.

Being a cyclist myself, I too hate seeing other cyclists breaking rules and generally being dicks on roads and pavements. But I'm sure I came across a link once that showed that cyclists were allowed to travel through red lights as long as it was safe to do so. I'm certainly not condoning the behaviour though, and it isn't something I do.
I don't mind cycling on pavements, as long as respect is being shown for pedestrians - I can't stand those that weave in and out of pedestrians, or cycle so fast they'd have no chance of stopping should a child wander in front of them at any time.
