30 years of using couriers here goes.....
These are all intermediary portals where you choose the selected courier.....
P4D ok but pricey, never had a problem with them
Parcels2go try making a claim! NEVER pay out ever, avoid.
Parcelmonkey I always use them for items over 2kg to europe and ROW, they use parcel force and PF have improved massively in the last few years
Interparcel I did use 90% of the time then they messes me about with a few deliveries so bye bye, their standard UK service is OK using UPS
New kid on the block is parcelbright, so far sent over 100 packages out NO PROBLEMS YET, £6.64+ VAT next day using DHL, these are getting the bulk of my business at the moment.
Up to 2kg use royal mail as they still cannot be beaten, about £15 to send a box weighing up to 2kg international signed for, £30 ROW
No faffing about with customs for royal mail as you just put a sticker on the box with the package details on.
There are plenty of others and we have all had bad experiences with some but overall the above are ok I find.
Worst individual courier for me......
No.1 by a long margin City Link, avoid IMO.
Hermes I have heard bad reports but I use them to send Knosti RCM's out and they have not lost any yet and I sell 100's!

However, I'm not in the market for a £5k cartridge £5K for a cartridge . . . that's more than my entire system!!! Does it give 5K's worth I pleasure though? I once met a lady who I might have paid 5K for, but not a cartridge It's worth every penny to me.

Martin has the speaker cables sat on his desk at work hopefully, when he has evaluated them Frank and Bev can have a listen.
I have been experimenting with USB, Ethernet and tone-arm cables the last being the hardest to do as the mini 5 pin din is very difficult to work with, Eugene has promised me mains but that will be a while away due to the extra costs to tool up for the design.

I tend to put internet radio on while working (7 days a week but I enjoy it so what the hell!)
So energyfm is on mostly which plays classic 80's funk and soul all day.
The programmers have to be my age as youngsters would not have the depth and breadth of knowledge to play what they do.
ALL day its sister sledge, shannon, isley brothers, patrice rushen, freez, luther, etc etc etc. Heaven for me anyway!

The SME V is such a small headshell which leaves no room to mount many cartridges, its a bit sterile too TBH (The SME) I only put it on the Techy until the Jelco arrived.

So, this is where all you reprobates are lurking now! Do I really have to do a biography when I am famous the world over as being a right pain in the rump OK then, if I must, I must. Frank A.K.A. "Effem" on other forums and been addicted to nice noises from black and silver boxes for getting on for 45 years now - how time flies. One time cable maker and I know how a hi-fi system should sound once it has been cabled up properly. My current system is quite modest, consisting of an "Original 2008f" CD player, a Thule "Spirit" integrated amp and a pair of JPW AP3 speakers. Sounded pretty good given that I got quite a bit of change from £400 when I bought it, but now with the addition of a SLIC Innovations Eclipse C interconnect it would embarass quite a few more esoteric systems way up in their thousands. In fact the bloomin' cable costs more than the rest of the system put together! You need an avatar Frankie! Suggest this maybe?

How about using a hammock for your kit so it suspends in mid air?
How would that sound? No rack at all?

Well having waited months to get myself an arm worthy of mounting Dom's cartridge on (the SME V is impossible for various reasons) and a standard el cheapo arm would not be worthy for what I consider one of the best cartridges ever made (well for me anyway) my silver wired Jelco finally arrived today. Its a brand new design with low slung counterweight and even the headshell is wired with silver (which I won't need anyway) as I also bought myself a rosewood and magnesium headshell to use with the arm. Of course mounting it on my Techie is the best place for it as Mike sent me a special edition heavy platter which is one of a kind he tells me so the extra height won't matter as the Jelco will be used with one of Hugo's new design collars. Only issue now I need to find an armboard which I know is somewhere in Brook Towers but where who knows! So the SME V is off and the new kid on the block will soon be on. Patience wearing thin as I don't like faffing about setting TT's up, and Dom lives too far away! I will take some actual pics when she is up and running, another glass of red beckons!

Well, for several reasons, Dave. Firstly, it's a surprise that anyone at all is finding us, as we haven't made any effort to tell people we're here - the launch is supposed to come later! Secondly, you seemed to have disappeared with no trace or warning from AoS, so I thought perhaps you might have had enough of forum life or something. It's maybe a case of other forums become boring so a change is as good as a rest I say!

Never heard of most of those, after first series of game of thrones ended forgot to watch 2nd series then lost interest, my wife once interviewed Lena Heady for a job before she became famous though! All time best of recent years for me...... Spartacus Walking Dead The Originals 24 Falling Skies Supernatural Banshee a few others will come to me later their names escape me at the moment.

The headphone market seems to be dominated by the big names, apple just bought beats international I do believe or maybe that is old news now. I use HiFi Man myself, I did get some Musical Fidelity ones a few months ago for £100 they were pretty good too. I rarely have time to listen properly which is sad really!
