Some of the songs that Led Zeppelin performed 'homage' to.....
Spirit - 'Taurus' Sounds jest a leeedle bit like 'Stairway to Heaven'
Moby Grape - 'Never' or is it 'Since I've been loving you'?
Jake Holmes - 'Dazed and Confused' The clue is in the title!
Bukka White - 'Shake 'Em On Down'
Howlin' Wolf - 'How Many More Years'
Bert Jansch - 'Black (Mountain) Water Side'
Muddy Waters (Willie Dixon) - 'You Need Love'
Howlin' Wolf - 'Killing Floor' 'The Lemon Song'
Sonny Boy Williamson - 'Bring It On Home'
'In My Time of Dying' (Traditional)
Kansas Joe McCoy & Memphis Minnie - 'When the Levee Breaks'

Blow me down
I knew LZ were copying, had as very good 'arrangers'. Never made the Spirit connection Jake Holmes is new to me and rather good
From memory Cream were the only ones to credit the original blues men on albums

Here's another. It's supposed to have been written by Anne Bredon but there are versions from 1965 or so that give the credit as 'Trad'

Moby Dick rather than spotted dick? It's a shame, 'cos we could have had some custard on that!
Sleepy John Estes - 'Drop Down Mama' was 're-imagined' as 'Custard Pie'

So, who is to blame for all of this despicable behaviour then?

I just heard on the radio that a jury will decide on the issue of Stairway to Heaven / Taurus. From the Guardian website:
Well, given the videos I posted above, one might conclude that there was a pattern of behaviour that might give the jury a hint or two!!
