Bought it anyway. £16.50. Got the original American version recently, but it seems to lack a bit of clarity and dynamics compared to the YouTube link, which is the Japanese re-issue of last year.

If you're a Graham Nash fan, and an Amazon Prime member, it's worth pre-ordering his new double CD set (released on June 29 th) which is currently priced at £5.99 on Amazon. I've ordered my copy. Sorry vinyl-lovers, it's £18.07 to you. More Info...Still £5.99, and my copy arrives tomorrow.

I've just ordered this, the Truls Mørk Collection, after reading about him. It seems that the Norwegian fell ill while on a concert tour in Japan in April 2009. Doctors first thought he had contracted the borrelia virus through a flea bite. Mørk lost all energy, couldn’t tolerate light or read, or get his fingers to work on the cello. In 2010 he was finally diagnosed with a rare form of encephalitis which doctors could treat, and after months of physiotherapy and rehabilitation to overcome paralysis in his shoulder, he could finally play again. He's described as being considered "one of the best cellists in the world." I must admit to never having heard of him before today, and despite the content of four out of the five discs in the set it seems that he favours "modern" works, but I'll try not to hold that against him. He is also a past winner of the annual Sibelius Prize. Mørk holds a Professorship at the Norwegian Academy of Music, Oslo. He performs on a rare Domenico Montagnana cello (Venice, 1723), whose scroll was made by Stradivarius. Norway's SR-Bank purchased the cello, which is on loan to him.

I'm trying to convince myself that paying sixty quid for the Fleetwood Mac "Complete Blue Horizon..." set is a good idea. Thankfully I haven't managed it yet.

Get the Duster Bennett one, it's much cheaper.

Excellent. I hope you like it! Guaranteed, Chris. I've got a few tracks of his on vinyl, and learned his version of "Jumpin' at Shadows" many moos ago.

I forgot I was expecting this one from Amazon; it's just arrived with the rest of my order. I have the Jesse James album on vinyl but I didn't have White Mansions, so this seemed like a good solution. The box I've been dropping my "CD's to play" into during the World Cup etc. is now overflowing so I've banned myself from buying anything else in the foreseeable future...unless I see something that's too good to pass up, obviously.
